Yes, the capsules are the problem; the machine works well if one reads the directions. I initially tried to fill capsules only by looking at the diagrams. DUH! I wish they would recommend a capsule brand. Without workable, UNIFORM capsules, lots of powder fall by the wayside. Right now, without resolving the capsule issue, I rate it 4 stars.
